Our club is very fortunate and grateful to have willing sponsors and we would like to thank all of them.

Kuek Hoon, Siaw Ching, Joanne and Jenny put in endless effort and time for making muffins and egg tarts as well as sourcing for so many pre-sale orders. Really appreciate their effort put in for this.
Success of club projects and team work come hand-in-hand. I'm glad to see the big turn-up of members and FOLs. All the members and FOLs did very well in their part and I'm very happy to also see that everyone enjoyed helping out.

Thank you everyone for your time and effort. Also a special thank you to Derbe, our President for putting up with the big pile of 2nd hand items at home and also the scrumptious lunch hosted by her at the Kim Hock Lim Restaurant after the food fair.

This is an annual rural health and community service project jointly organized by all the District 308-A2 Region 1 Lions Clubs (Kuching-Serian-Bau and Kota Samarahan) ; this year also as the project commensurate to a celebration of the 50-years anniversary of Lions Service in Malaysia.

A Muffin Making Day

Today is a muffin day. Few members got together to make muffins for Lions Nursing Home food fair's pre-sale. The two taukeh-nios - Hoon and Audrey received orders to make 150++ banana muffins with 3 choices - plain, with choc chips, and with sunflower seeds & raisins (my vote).

The process includes chopping bananas, mashing bananas, weighing flour, melting butter...

Preparing eggs, mixing ingredients...

Scooping ingredients into muffin cups...

Put the trays into the oven for 20-25 minutes bake... Then half way, open the oven and do this amazing 'peng peng peng'...

There you go... hot delicious muffins fresh from oven...

Yummy, yummy, yummy... it smells good and taste fantastic!!

Packing in progress...

Job done!!

Present to you, our delicious muffins...
