Our new member Fabian Jong was the OC of this successfully organised project. Well done OC!  We would also like to thank Ms. Lily and Ms. Senti from SSPCA for receiving us and to all our donors and sponsors for their contribution.

Part 2 of the project was carried out on 12.9.2015 with a delivery of more of the items on SSPCA's wish list.

Touch A Life 2015

2015 Touch A Life Project was carried out with the collaboration of S.O.S Kids Kuching (https://www.facebook.com/soskidskuchingsarawak)

Our club members started a fund raising for this project in the beginning of January 2015.  The total fund raised by the members is RM2800.  The total fund used for this project is RM1611.02. The remaining amount of RM1188.98 will be banked into club's project account.

 

From the list provided by S.O.S Kids Kuching, our club identified 6 kids with lung problem for our project this round.  The project was carried out on 7 Feb (9 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.) where the club members and the members from S.O.S Kids  (Dr. Chor & family and Mr. Ong) visited 4 families located at Asajaya and Siburan respectively:

Dr. Chor from S.O.S Kids is a dedicated doctor who spent a lot of his weekends driving around visiting these kids.  According to Dr. Chor, there are in total 70+ kids discharged from the hospital currently under S.O.S Kids Kuching's care.  The items that S.O.S Kids are seeking for sponsorship include:

Therefore we would like to urge public to kindly help sourcing for above sponsorship for S.O.S Kids Kuching. 

After completed the visits and the handover on the day, our club members proceed to donate the remaining 12 packs of 10 kg rice to Green Ribbon Kuching.

In summary, 2015 Touch A Life is another successful and meaningful project carried out by our club this term.  Our special thanks to S.O.S Kids Kuching for the collaboration, and thanks to our members for the help to raise fund and to help up on the day.
